Why we picked it

An editorial choice based on facts the place publishes, not on a stay or a meal.

Locavore NXT is a hyper-local restaurant in Lodtunduh, south of Ubud, serving a single tasting menu, “The Source 2.0”, built on Indonesian ingredients used whole. Dinner Monday to Saturday, lunch Thursday to Saturday.

Because NXT takes an idea further than most tables state it: one menu, local produce stated as a principle, visit conditions detailed on the site. It is a whole-evening choice, outside the centre, to book knowing what to expect.
