How to read the result
- The bases come from the eight region pages; the interests you tick weigh first, then the family and first-trip profile. A second base in the same area is less favored, to vary the scenery.
- The nights start from the length recommended on each region page, never fewer than two nights per base.
- The travel times are those of the transfer pages, the region pages and the itineraries, copied as they are. When no page links two bases, the route goes through the airport or Sanur, like the site’s itineraries.
- The cost only counts accommodation: nights × the observed range of the “Where to stay” pages, for a double room. Meals, transport and excursions are costed with the budget calculator.
- With children, the planner leaves out the regions whose page advises against them for families.

Frequently asked questions
Is the suggested route a ready-made itinerary?
No. It is a suggestion calculated from the site’s data, to be adapted: check the transfers, the season and your dates before booking.
Why do some regions never appear with children?
Uluwatu, Canggu, Munduk and Nusa Penida are not recommended for families on their own page: steep stairs, waves, slippery steps or difficult roads. The planner leaves them out when you travel with children.
Does the cost shown cover the whole trip?
No, only the nights, based on the ranges observed for a double room. Flights, meals, transport and excursions are not counted.
Can you share the route?
Yes. Your choices are written into the page address: copy it to find or send the same route again. Nothing is stored anywhere else.
